Todd Hemleb (Founder/Owner/cheif engineerr)
Todd established Wavelength sound in 1977, a multitrack recording facility whose primary application was serving the professional music and music publishing industries. Wavelength also did considerable work with commercial and corporate clientele. In 1997, changing its name to Pyramid Recording, Todd completely rebuilt and expanded the studio and added specific equipment that fit his philosophy. That philosophy comes from learning his craft during a time when the quality of the sound was as important as the music being created. Using the correct mic in the correct position gives the best sound. Knowing how to tastefully use the equipment and applyi it to any situation is one of Todd’s strengths, and he brings this quality to today’s world of recording. Todd has worked with such people as Michael Kamen, Whitney Houston, Tom “Bones” Malone, Larry Baeder, Richard Crooks, Anton Fig, MOP and many more. He has also worked with most of the major labels on recordings and publishing.
